Saturday, April 27th is #LAdrinks2Boston -- a day for LA bars, restaurants and customers to raise money for the victims of the Boston bombings. Please support the cause at participating businesses and spread the word with #LADrinks2Boston. Description The bomb attacks on April 15th shocked and outraged us all. Many people suffered terrible, life altering injuries that will require long periods of recovery and rehabilitation. The City of Boston has set up a fund for those affected by the bombings, www.onefundboston.org. This is a page for an event, a coming together. On Saturday April 27th, LA bars and restaurants will undertake to raise money for this fund, by donating a percentage of profits, or other fundraising activities. Businesses can create whichever fundraising activity they wish, and we will feature it on this page. We would then encourage those businesses to tweet their fundraising effort, using the hashtag #LAdrinks2Boston. Our aim is to inspire as many businesses as possible to raise money on this day. For our part, we will use local news media, radio, TV, print and online to publicize this day of action. People of LA, we'd like you to support the businesses that are raising these funds by visiting them and drinking, dining, having a good time. Doing all the things that people who plant bombs would like to frighten us into not doing. Please 'Like' this page and share it.
