Lytton Estate is situated in West Kensington straddling North End Road and to the north of the West Cromwell Rd (A4) There are 295 flats spread over eight blocks.
It is named after Edward George Earle Lytton Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Baron Lytton PC who was an English novelist, poet, playwright, and politician, whose family owned land in the area:-
Burne Jones House, Clifford House, Falkland House, Glenallan House, Mortimer House, Pelham House, Samuel Richardson House and The Grange; plus a Tenants Hall.
Avonmore Library, which is the base for the H&F Citizens Advice Bureau is sited within the estate.
Just to the north is the Olympia Exhibition Centre, with National Rail and London Underground connections at Kensington Olympia.
To the south of the estate is the District Line Station, West Kensington.
Also, Barons Court Station is not far, with Piccadilly and District line services.
