The icons in the form of purple dots indicate the settlements with the names of Bulgarian origin. Maroon ones are of the latter, of the Scythian period. Asterisks mark known single or group sites of CWC. The orange line indicates the western border of the Trypilla culture, and the yellow dots indicate the possible place names of Trypilla times. Browns show the area of Indo-Europeans, and green is the territory of the spread of Fatyanovo and Balanovo cultures. The blue line indicates the border of the settlement of the Finno-Ugric peoples.
