Moyie Spring Reservoir and Moyie River. Moyie Spring Reservoir is 1.5 miles long at high water and approximately 2 miles upstream from where Moyie River meets the Kootenai River. Moyie River extend all the way from Canada to the Kootenai River. One can access the river via kayak/canoe river bank launching along much of the road along the river. This reservoir and river is popular for kayaking and fishing. The water is crystal clear and travels through some of the most spectacular wilderness scenery in the state.
