Documenting demolitions in the area between Camosun and Dunbar Streets and West 27th and 34th Avenues in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, since late 2010. This area is a good sample of the larger Dunbar area as it contains single family homes built from the 1920's to the present and has numerous styles on varying sizes of lots. However, almost all houses built before 1970, when sold, are torn down by developers or investors, and the new house is then priced at an amount that is way out of line with salaries in Vancouver, thus unaffordable to the locals. Unfortunately, the situation is not unique to the Dunbar area, but it is one of the targeted areas.
